Maybe you’ve received advice like, “Just read with them more.” No matter how often you do, your child is not making reading progress. You are getting frustrated, and so is your child, and you are beginning to notice a change in their attitude toward school and toward themselves. Do not wait and do not take this on alone. During this informal but important conversation, you will receive support and guidance on how to help your child improve their reading skills at home. You are under no obligation to sign up for our services.
Comprehensive Reading Assessment
Fluent reading involves the development of a number of skills. Identify exactly which ones are holding your child back from progressing in reading by booking a comprehensive reading assessment. Your child will be assessed in four key areas of reading including,
- Phonological Awareness
- Decoding Skills
- Oral Reading Fluency
- Sight Word Recognition
Within 72 hours, you will receive a detailed report outlining the results of the assessment with clear areas of strengths and need. This valuable information can be shared with your child’s teacher to help inform classroom instruction and accommodations. Prior to beginning 1:1 tutoring with us, students must complete this assessment. The results are used to tailor each session directly to your child’s specific strengths and needs.

Tutoring
We offer 1:1, virtual tutoring with sessions individualized according to your child’s reading strengths and needs. All activities align with what current research says about the most effective and efficient way to teach reading.
As part of our program, your child will also receive premium access to Boost Reading, a games-based computer program that your child can complete in 30 minutes each week.
Along with improved academic results, our highest aim is to develop your child’s overall confidence. This confidence will show both in and outside of school, in academic areas and in enhanced self-esteem.
When your child learns with us, they will become readers. And in doing so, they learn the most important lessons of all – that they are intelligent and capable.
